Data Collection

Select AI does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer.

Local Storage

Your API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter) are stored only in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). They never leave your device except to authenticate API requests you explicitly trigger. Your custom prompts, settings, free-usage counter, and — if you activate Pro — your license key are stored locally in your browser.

API Requests

When you select text and trigger an AI action, the selected text is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you configured (OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter) using your own API key (BYOK). No data is sent to the extension developer or any third party other than your chosen AI provider.

License Verification

If (and only if) you paste a Pro license key into the extension, the extension sends that license key and the product ID to Gumroad's license verification API (api.gumroad.com) to check whether the key is valid. The license check never includes your selected text, your prompts, your results, or your AI API key.

No Analytics

This extension contains no analytics, tracking, or telemetry.

Select AI는 어떤 개인정보도 수집하거나, 개발자에게 전송하거나, 제3자와 공유하지 않습니다.

로컬 저장

API 키(OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter)는 내 브라우저의 로컬 저장소(chrome.storage.local)에만 저장됩니다. 내가 직접 실행한 API 요청을 인증할 때를 빼고는 기기를 떠나지 않습니다. 나만의 프롬프트, 설정, 무료 사용량 카운터, 그리고 Pro를 켠 경우 그 라이선스 키도 브라우저 안에만 저장됩니다.

API 요청

글을 선택해 AI 동작을 실행하면, 선택한 글이 내 API 키로 내가 설정한 AI 제공자(OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter)에게 브라우저에서 직접 전송됩니다. 확장 개발자나 그 밖의 어떤 제3자에게도 데이터가 전송되지 않습니다.

라이선스 확인

Pro 라이선스 키를 확장에 붙여넣은 경우에 한해, 키가 유효한지 확인하기 위해 그 라이선스 키와 상품 ID가 Gumroad의 라이선스 확인 API(api.gumroad.com)로 전송됩니다. 라이선스 확인에는 내가 선택한 글, 프롬프트, 결과, AI API 키가 절대 포함되지 않습니다.

분석 도구 없음

이 확장에는 분석, 추적, 텔레메트리가 들어 있지 않습니다.
